AM/PM Rituals

The Panty Kickers believe that by automating some tasks in your daily life you can free up space to be creative about solving the problem of, “how do I…?”. Let them help you fill in the blanks by adding structure around the wiggly parts of the day that can start to own you.

Carolyn says:

  1. Make a list of ideal rituals to work toward.
  2. Do 30 days of strict rituals to see how it makes you feel once you get over the hump.
  3. AM Rituals: Wake up and Hydrate, do 10-15 minutes of yoga, fill in the five minute journal, do 5-10 minutes meditation
  4. PM Rituals: Turn off the TV and phone before bed, do the 5 minute journal, read for 20 minutes, have some intimate time (talking/sexing – shouts to Paul 🙂 ), get to bed early.

Becca says:

  1. Pick a couple of “book-end” routines to help you open and close the day.
  2. Putting pen to paper is a great way to empty your thoughts.
  3. AM Rituals: Wake up, look at calendar, order the important events of the day, get dressed with intention (put pride in appearance), connect with partner, eat a healthy breakfast.
  4. PM Rituals: Clean up the house/kitchen, pack all the bags, do some self care, read for 15-20 minutes, have intimacy with partner, go to sleep early!

BOOK MENTION: 5 Minute Journal

In the morning write 3 things you’re grateful for, 3 things you want to get done that day and 1 affirmation. At night, write 3 amazing things that happened that day and 1 thing you could improve upon.

Homework:  Write your list of AM/PM Rituals that you would like to try to hit every morning and evening to bookend your day.
